For over twenty-five years Finnegan Gallery has been one of the country’s foremost dealers in fine European and American garden antiques, architectural artifacts as well unique
furniture and lighting from the 18th through the mid-20th century.
Visitors at antiques shows throughout the country have long admired the dramatic displays designed by the husband and wife team of Kaye Gregg and Marty Shapiro. The couple travels frequently to Europe and throughout the United States to personally select objects that combine distinctive style and extraordinary form with the substance and appeal of the authentic period piece.
Always presenting the finest examples of items for both inside and outside the home, interior designers, landscape architects and others have long known them to be a favorite source of inspirational and innovative objects.
Located approximately 15 minutes north of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, their spacious 6,000 square foot gallery provides the couple with the flexibility to boldly acquire items that are often far larger and more substantial than could be displayed if located in smaller and more conventional retail quarters.
