Removed from an old cognac distillery in the Loire region of France, this near pair of late 18th century hand carved stone columns were originally used as elevated bases supporting large copper vats used in the distillery process.
Each carved limestone column is comprised of three sections which rest on each other and have over time acquired a weathered and mossy surface. The substantial size of these pieces will allow them to stand alone as impressive sculptural statements in your garden.
