A fanciful rendering in cast stone of a leaping stag with a full set of antlers posed on a wooded stump. Possibly inspired by the outsider art work of Emile Tagourdeau, the naively painted surface, now weathered after many years of outdoor exposure covers layers of hand-applied and sculpted cement encasing an internal iron armature. France. Circa: 1950
