Dimensions:
A very large late 18th century carved stone trough removed from a farmstead in Somerset, England.
This particular trough is "D-shaped" strongly suggesting that it may have originally been used in conjunction with a pump supplying water to the public in a village setting.
Today troughs make for excellent planters or used as water features.
